Ciao Bella Shop's Blog

Just another WordPress.com weblog

About November 2, 2009

Ciao Bella! Garden and Home is a store in the affluent Northern Michigan Resort area of Little Traverse Bay, on Lake Michigan.  Our trade area extends from Traverse City, Michigan to Saul Ste. Marie, Canada.  More immediately it includes the communities of Bay Harbor, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac Island, along with numerous villages on Northern Michigan’s inland lakes.

Ciao Bella Garden and Home is the culmination of 25 years in fine art, interior design, and garden and patio sales for Diane and Craig Bell.  Ciao Bella! (Hello Beautiful!) has been operating in Petoskey, MI for 5 years.

We are both from the Great Lakes Region and met in graduate school at Michigan State Univ.  Married for 43 years, we are the parents of 3 successful children and are blessed with 10 grandchildren.

Our business purpose is to offer distinctive products (and service) to customers who are in pursuit of “The Well Lived Life”.  We believe one’s quality of life can be enhanced by purchasing our products without having to spend exhorbantly to do so.

Many of our products have a euro-centric orientation, but not all.  What can be said is they each are distinctive, reflecting a flair for art, fine design, and especially good quality.

Be they soaps, bed and table linens, fine and everyday china, candles, serve ware, stationery and cards, garden and patio furniture, interior design, furniture or fine art, each product is chosen for its distinctiveness, quality, and value.  Hard to find elsewhere may also be a criteria, but our web site, http://CiaoBellaShop.com offers all of the products on-line which we have in the store or are authorized to sell.

Our blog will document our travels and other important information as we continue trying to improve the quality and selections offered in our on-line and Northern Michigan stores.  Should you have a question, comment or interest in our site correspond with us on this blog.

Thank you,

Diane and Craig Bell
